Job Objective
The Supplemental Type Certificate Coordinator develops new and maintenance of existing supplemental type certificates.
Essential Functions
- Maintain project schedules and provide updates to Production Program Manager
- Coordinate directly with FAA Aircraft Certification Office and Designated Engineering Representatives on all projects
- Create all required documents to support supplemental type certificate approval (i.e. PSCP, MDL, FMS, ICA, flight/ground test plan/report, EMI test plan/report, FHA, EQS, etc.)
- Ensure all documents, approvals, communications are properly filed for historical reference
- Answer field questions pertaining to Metro Aviation’s supplemental type certificate
- Ensure documentation on file is kept at the latest approved revision level

- Prioritize and multi-task to meet deadlines

- Extreme focus on accuracy and timeliness in a high-volume atmosphere
- Exemplary customer service, emotional intelligence, and communication skills
- Working knowledge of 14 CFR 27 and 29
- Ability to locate and interpret FAA regulations
Education & Experience
- Previous supplemental type certificate experience required
- Previous medical supplemental type certificates preferred
Physical Demands
- Walking, standing, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, kneeling
Work Environment
- Indoor/outdoor shop environment with potential extreme hot and cold temperatures
- Exposure to hazardous chemicals is possible
- Moderate to loud noise level
Work Status, Schedule, & Travel
- Full-time
- Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week
- Travel may be required – 10%
