Job Objective
The Information Technology Assistant Manager is responsible for providing technical support and assistance with the configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of computer systems, hardware, and software.
Essential Functions
- Assist with administration of Windows domain environment, including user account setup, computer assignments, Active Directory (AD) security management, Group Policy creation/maintenance, and implementation of updates and patches during non-business hours
- Maintain and order supplies for printer fleet, troubleshoot and support Xerox copiers.
- Update/maintain imaging tools and image new devices
- Provide comprehensive support for over 800 endpoints (Windows and Mac), 200 local and 600 remote
- Assist with management of Google Workspace environment with 1250 users. Knowledge of Proofpoint Enterprise a plus
- Assist with mobile device management (mdm) issues
- Respond to tech inquiries via email, through online chats, over the phone, or in person
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities (KSA)
- In-depth understanding of Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Group
- Policy, and domain administration
- Familiarity with endpoint security, system hardening, and update/patch
- management practices
- Working knowledge of Google Workspace administration and identity management
- Experience troubleshooting and configuring various computer systems, hardware, and software
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, systems, and user requests

Education & Experience
- At least 5-7 years of experience in IT support systems administration, or infrastructure management required

Status, Schedule, & Travel
- Full-time
- Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week (7:30-4:30)
- On-call responsibilities may be assigned on a rotating basis to ensure timely resolution of critical issues outside standard business hours
