Job Objective

The Administrative Assistant to the Chief Inspector is responsible for data entry, accurate collection, reviewing, analyzing, organizing, updating, and maintaining maintenance workorder packages

Essential Functions

  • Collect and maintain paperwork from the Maintenance Department
  • Verify that all data is correct upon completion of each work order, ensuring all aircraft in the hangar are properly signed off and dated
  • Scan and file completed work orders for maintenance records
  • Maintain and update Excel spreadsheets for all aircraft in the hangar
  • Collect, scan, and compile STC data packs for 337s
  • Ensure customers receive complete work order packages on a thumb drive and assist with any issues related to 337s
  • Coordinate with the Avionics Department to obtain 8130s, parts sheets, and test data required to complete work orders
  • Coordinate with maintenance technicians regarding STC data packages
  • Track and ensure all Inspection Authorizations (IAs) are kept current each year for all qualified personnel
  • Perform any other duties that may be required by Part 145 Director of Maintenance and Chief Inspector

  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Record keeping experience preferred
  • Data entry experience preferred

Physical Demands

  • Prolonged periods of sitting and computer work with repetitive motion
  • Filing using various motions
Work Environment
  • Temperature controlled office
  • Low to moderate noise level
  • Exposure to outdoor shops with potential extreme cold and hot temperatures along with moderate to loud noise levels

Work Status, Schedule, & Travel

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Monday - Thursday 7:00am-4:30pm, Friday 7:00am-12:00pm
  • No travel required
