Job Objective

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for effectively processing and maintain incoming and outgoing shipments.

Essential Functions

  • Process incoming shipments:
    • Identify, control, segregate, and maintain all materials (including raw materials and parts) according to the manufacturer’s requirements or standard industry practices
    • Ensure articles are received for stock in accordance with the procedures in the Repair Station Quality Manual
    • Document the proper receipts of articles that will be placed into stock
  • Process outgoing shipments to ensure all items listed on packing slip are included

  • Work independently as well as in a team environment
  • High attention to detail
  • Extreme focus on accuracy and timeliness in a high-volume atmosphere
  • Superior organization skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Basic computer skills to include Google and Microsoft Office products

Education & Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Experience in logistics preferred

Physical Demands

  • Prolonged periods of walking, pulling, pushing, reaching, bending, squatting, kneeling, sitting, and standing
  • Climbing on various heights
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Work Environment

  • Air-controlled stockroom
  • Occasional outdoor environment with potential extreme cold and hot temperatures
  • Exposure to hazardous chemicals is possible
  • Moderate noise level at times

Work Status, Schedule, & Travel

  • Full Time
  • Various schedules (7:00am-4:00pm, 7:30-4:30pm, or 8:00am-5:00pm)
  • No travel required
  • 40 hours per week
